    Course Overview:

    Dr. Howie requires us to write an article a week which is a much more strenuous workload than other 311 professors require. If you can take someone else, I would recommend that.

    Course highlights:

    You really learn AP Style because the lab TA's hammer it in

    6-8 hours

    Don't procastinate writing your stories!!!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Very informative and entertaining. Overall a fun class.

    Course highlights:

    Journalist principles, how to conduct an interview and how to report news.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class because the clickers are worth points. Don't wait until the last minute to write your news stories.
