    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I probably would not recommend this class to anyone unless you are very interested in art and the who, what, when, where, and why behind art in general. It is almost all discussion based but the class is too large to really get comfortable sharing their ideas about the topics in class. Also, Professor Hopson is a very interesting and nice guy but gets very angry when the students treat the class so poorly by not doing the assigned readings and prep for the class.

    Course highlights:

I have learned some very interesting random facts about art and the art world. We had an entire class on the Art Black Market, it was enlightening. We also have to go to art performances, like festivals, lectures, plays, etc. I have gotten to go to some really cool exhibits and plays because of that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest not treating the class like a blow off class and actually doing the work. It is not that hard and it makes class discussion go much smoother! Also we start every class with a song and if a student submits a song for class they get extra credit which is great.
