    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Engineering 111 is a very basic course that has not been beneficial to me. The course focuses on how to be a good engineering student and what engineering is. We have reading quizzes every few weeks and two group projects and they have all been easy. The course material is good, but I took a very similar class to this one in high school and I have found myself bored of the class.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was that it does teach you a little bit on how to make better goals and how to utilize the amenities that your university offers. I would say that I did not learn much, but I did learn a few new study techniques that the text book introduces.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give to people who want to take this course is that it is an easy course that requires little time, so if you are considering it for a filler class or just a class to get to know engineering better I would say, go for it! However, if you have a lot of hours on your schedule already or if you are already far into your engineering major or are not an engineering major, then I would suggest not taking this class.

    Course highlights:

How products are created and the basic foundation of engineering. I learned about how products are broken down into their basic chemical composition.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study on a daily basis and work in small groups.
