    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is essential for a biology degree and although a hard course if you prepare well there is no reason you should not do well.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge of the cell and the precursors to many classes I will be taking in the future at this university and when I move onto medical school.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Make index cards. Study after and before each class. Know the material inside and out but if you know everything you should be fine

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was actually pretty difficult after the first test. It takes a lot of studying to master the concepts and you can't let yourself get behind. As someone who procrastinated, I would only recommend this class if you have great work ethic. The class is very content heavy

    Course highlights:

Dr. Yoder is definitely a great teacher and explains everything pretty well if you pay attention. The homework was pretty easy and was great for bonus points at the end of the semester

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely READ THE BOOK. The tests are only partially from the lecture but he utilized homework questions and the book readings assigned. Study in advance and make flash cards for key terms- definitions make up a good part of the test
