Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course to anyone that has an interest in the basic foundation of political philosophy. This course forced me to dig a little bit deeper into my psyche and create ways for me to better understand the thought processes of previous philosophers.

    Course highlights:

From the very beginning, we studied the ideals of the one and only Plato and then we progressed to the beliefs of the controversial Karl Marx. However, no matter what we studied, I still remained engaged and fascinated by the information that was being presented before me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend to any student considering this course to have a strong sense of reading and writing skills. You will be asked to read books and passages that you will be expected to summarize and expand upon in an essay format.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr porter is extremely nice and helpful. He runs a discussion style lecture, but respects your decision to not participate if you're too shy. He'll do everything he can to help you succeed

    Course highlights:

We studied the works and ideas of political philosophers ranging from classical thinkers like Plato and Aristotle to more modern writers like Burke and Nietzsche in order to improve our own political beliefs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the readings! They are usually short but sometimes complex. It's not important to understand what you've read, because mr Mr Porter will explain everything until you grasp the material.
