Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is my favorite class that I have taken at Alabama. I have learned the skills necessary to go into the industry of sales and I feel more prepared than ever after taking this course. My professor was extremely passionate about the course and it translated into his students and made them passionate to learn more about sales.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course that stood out to me would be following up with a customer and learning how to run a meeting effectively. My professor taught me a lot about how to say what you want to say in the most efficient way by saying more with less words.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare a lot for the role plays and phone calls. The more prepared you are and the more you practice, the better you will do!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Joe is an excellent professor; he really makes the course exciting! He breaks up the main project for the class into several sections, to ensure that each student has a full understanding of what is required in the end, and he does all he can to make sure each student is successful. I strongly recommend taking this course and taking it with Joe. He cracks jokes when appropriate, but he also demands full attention and participation with his students in the class. You won't regret taking this class with Joe!

    Course highlights:

I was able to expand my sales vocabulary, and simultaneously was able to gain very insightful experience with putting together a strong sales proposal. It felt really cool to be able to look at actual data to come up with an appropriate proposal to very current company. The lingo you learn in this class will slingshot you though the MKT classes to follow.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class prepared- pay attention when he is giving his lectures. TAKE NOTES- he provides you with some really insightful tips for your proposal and really walks you through the specifics you need to be successful in the end with it.
