Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Özkılıç was absolutely amazing, with wit and sarcasm, he makes the work heavy course quite enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be a better writer (and person) overall, each paper helps you understand your writing style slowly throughout the semester.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have the chance to work with Professor Özkılıç, please do yourself a favor and do it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He was a really outgoing and fun professor. He doesn't assign a lot of homework just readings that you need to read for discussions in class the next day. There are some topics where we can have debates and it gets really interesting.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course was the discussions of readings in class such as about the American Dream and gender inequality. I was not really interested in these topics but while they were discussed it was interesting to hear about other people's opinion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend completing the assignments and readings and if you do all these you will get a decent grade. He's very helpful if you need help with your essay and he's very approachable.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was by far my favorite course of the semester. Not only did Dr. Ozkilic create the perfect classroom setting, but the content and the quantity of knowledge I gained by the end of the semester was impeccable.

    Course highlights:

I most definitely enjoyed listening and giving oral presentations about each topic we researched. Also the class discussion we have we always entertaining, but informing at the same time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attendance is very important, and always hand in your work on time. Dr. Ozkilic is a fair grader, and always offers a lot of advice and help on all of the essays and assignments. Be open to learning new things, and have fun in the course.
