    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Demasi is a wonderful professor who definitely cares about his students. His powerpoints are straightforward and he makes study guides that tell you exactly what will be on the exam so there is no guessing what to or not to study. His clicker questions only add to the easy points you can obtain to boost your grade and you get 20 attempts to do every homework that help you study for the exams! Easy A if you apply yourself and actually show up to class!

    Course highlights:

You learn how your entire body works because we go through all the body systems in pretty good detail for a first year biology course. If you're going into the medical field (everyone at this school) this class should interest you and make you want to learn more about our bodies. Highlights of the course would be how easy it is since the exams are basically written out for you on the study guides.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it for sure! Great professor who uses a lot of props which is good for all the visual learns out there and he wants you to succeed! As long as you do your homework and go to class in order to get the clicker question points and study for the exams, you'll do great.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The information taught is very interesting and the professor covers it in a lot of detail on the powerpoint slides. He also provides study guides which are very similar to the questions on exams. Also, the labs apply to what we have learned in class and help solidify the information presented during lectures.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the course was the labs that went along with the lectures. We were able to learn so much through first hand experience instead of only listening to a professor lecture. There is also variety in the labs as the course progresses which kept me interested and involved.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study often, as there is a lot to be learned, however, it is not impossible to do well as long as you stay on top of your notes and pay attention in class!
