    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I believe Danheiser is a great lecturer. Though in the end, he was not so accommodating with grading given my situation, I still believe he provided all of the necessary tools to be successful in Organic Chemistry at MIT. He utilized every color while writing notes on the board and gave clear and detailed explanations of reactions in order to help you understand the guiding principles and rules of organic chemistry.

    Course highlights:

In this class, I learned that even if your test scores did not make you believe you learned much, you actually did. I can talk about reactions and have real conversations about potential synthesis reactions, which I definitely would not have understood one year ago.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do many many practice problems. Even when things seem simple or easy, do practice problems. Set extra tie aside to really work through practice problems forwards and backwards.
