    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

8.01 was a very different learning experience due to the TEAL format. While I wouldn't choose TEAL again because it's not my learning style, I enjoyed being exposed to it. Dourmashkin was a fantastic professor, always willing to explain things to us and generally clear in his lectures.

    Course highlights:

While I had taken mechanics before, 8.01 helped me intuitively understand the problems more than I had before. This was from demos in class and trying to figure out pset problems with other students.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My biggest piece of advice for 8.01 is choose your TEAL group carefully. These are the people you will be working with all semester, and if you are not a cohesive group it will be detrimental to everyone involved.
