Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to those who do not feel comfortable with writing essays. This class will help you to improve your grammar and organization skills. While taking English Composition 1 you will learn how to successfully structure an essay. You will learn the different styles of essay such as Expository, Reflective and Narrative.

    Course highlights:

Learning from my mistakes has played a vital part of me becoming successful in English 101. I have learned that essays are not as scary as they seem. With the right method of organization and the ability to outline, anyone can write a well written essay. I have learned that when it comes to writing essays it is always important to have a strategy. Without a strategy it can be hard to form a well-structured essay. Using the techniques that I have acquired over the semester has helped me better my writing skills. Before entering this class I did not have much knowledge when it came to the proper way of structuring an essay. Now I feel more comfortable with writing essays and brainstorming. This class has helped me further my writing skills so that now I have the confidence needed to be a successful writer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come into the class with an open mind and a willingness to learn. Writing essays are not as bad as they seem and after taking this class you will feel more comfortable with writing them. Be prepared to learn different concepts behind writing essays. You will be writing many journals and essays to help improve your writing ability.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class has helped me in a lot of ways I did not know I needed help. My professor was very nice and understanding. I liked the set up for the course. Nothing was overly difficult and If it was my professor broke it down so that I could better understand it. I can say I left the class with a high b and my writing has improved. Yours will improve also, as long as you put in that work.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to become a better writer. My introductions and conclusions are 10x better than they were a few months ago. A big problem I had with my essays in this class was leaving out contractions, which are words like "they've" and "they're", before I had no idea contractions are bad in the english world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a simple course and to fail it you really have to be doing nothing. Do the best you can. I think the most your professors wants from you, improvement.
