I wouldnt recommend this course just because i am not good at math! I believe if you are not majoring in something that needs more than your basic math then you shouldnt have to take the course.

Course highlights:
I learned statistics that I can apply to my day to day life. It was a very interesting class, I never knew so much about statistics until this class. Probability and graphing are also a big part of this course.

Advice for students:
The advice I would give to students taking this class is to study! Sometimes it can be hard to study for a math test, but I always made up problems and redid homework assignments. This really helped me prepare for the exams. Also, the professor is very nice and is always willing to help. Go see the professor during office hours and go to all the review sessions, they really help! Never miss class, you will fall behind rather quickly.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
This professor is very hard. He expects you to know the information presented to you. Through out this course, I had to teach myself. The homework's were nearly impossible. I ended the class with a 95. I studied for hours before each test and the homework took me a very long time.
Course highlights:
I learned a lot about probability and the different ways to find it. Also, i learned about sample distributions and how to find the standard deviation, mean and variance for each distribution. There are a lot of things in this class you will never use. It is very complex and is very hard. I would recommend taking it when your a sophomore or junior.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would do all your homework, review it, and study it for the test. If you have questions, this professor will meet with you and go over any questions you have.
