Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course focused on different cultural aspects of different societies. I found it very interesting to study cultural patterns such as marriage, food, migration, religion, among other things.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course was the references to pop culture that Professor Hersh integrated within the lesson. She incorporates episodes from "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation" and other TV shows to reference culture and by using examples from every day life, it makes it easier and more relatable to apply concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend reading all of the required readings. They are always referenced in class and in the midterm exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you get to learn about different cultures. And learn how they live, eat, and how marriage works for them once they are the right age.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is that I learn about how every culture has different ways of expressing themselves. And how they interact with each other and treat each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study the material many times before the quiz or test. Also, go over notes and chapters that were assigned for homework or class work.
