    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very difficult course, but it is required for the Counseling , MS program. Therefore, the best professor to take for this course,to the best of my knowledge, would be Dr. Carver. He is the professor I took for the course and I definitely learned the foundations of psychology in counseling. I learned alot during this intensive course.

    Course highlights:

The pod casts were very beneficial to my learning experience. However, there were many required assignment that were extremely lengthy which requires students to expand their knowledge of psycholgy and the way you think about counseling. It is very difficult, but required and students will learn a lot through out this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give students when taking this course is to study the maximum amount of hours per week as possible. I would also recommend to follow the instructions of the professor very carefully. Also, it is foundations, therefore, it is an extremely important course especially if you will be interested as LPC for your career choice.
