    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The knowledge that I had of the United States' place in environmental issues worldwide was meager, but this course opened my eyes to the environmental injustice we cause and gain from as a country. In my eyes, this course provides information that is essential to know as a human being, and especially as an American college student so we can work toward shaping a better future.

    Course highlights:

Avi was able to enlighten me in a way that I understood, and forever changed my point of view on issues such as environmental justice, environmental racism, capitalism, globalization, alternative energy, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You don't need to have a passion for environmental issues to take this course. No matter what your views are, everybody can learn something new from this course. Deep discussions take place if the students speak out.
