Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is important to understand how chemicals react in our environment and in our bodies. For instance, how medications react to other substances.

    Course highlights:

It is important to understand how chemicals bond to create different chemical reactions. Our labs were centered on the reactions of organic compounds; for instance the reaction of carbon. Therefore, the primary purpose is the study the substitution and decrease reactions of the carbonyl group.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review each day and give yourself plenty of time to study for tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend everyone take Chemistry because everything in this world can chemically react to something else. I think everyone should at least have a basic understanding of these possible reactions, for instance, taking medication with other substances, breathing, and your can of soda.

    Course highlights:

We learned how Carbon bonds with other elements. I think Salman Khan said it best, "organic chemistry is like building with molecular Legos." Everyone loves playing with legos and when you think of it that way, it's easy to understand.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To review your notes every day, ask questions, and join a study group so, you all can benefit from everyone's different perspectives.
