    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Eric is a good teacher, very thorough and willing to help! The class is difficult, especially if you've never taken physics before, but very interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about managing my time and developing study habits as a result of the class. On the side of the class material specifically, the class spends a lot of time on forces, rotations, and waves. A lot of the problems became similar in how to solve them after the first few weeks!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, I suggest doing the reading provided, going to think tank and doing some problems in the textbook each week on top of the provided homework. It takes time to start thinking in the way physics requires, but eventually it will click into place!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is very interesting and it makes students really think, challenging them to bring the best of them. There is always engagement and discussion along the students, making it also very fun. This course is not too math heavy, but it allows students to learn many things from science history to fun facts about certain subjects.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the concepts of vectors, about velocity and acceleration, forces, energy, and how circular motion works. There are many applications to be learned during this course. I also learned how to really use a textbook to aid myself during the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read the chapters in the book related to what there is in class, even if it is just for slight review. Do the homework, because that will really really allow the student to get a good understanding of each situation and problem presented.
