    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any business major because it introduces you the do's and don'ts of a professional environment. The course teaches what business professional dress looks like, how to construct an effective resume, how to behave when at a professional lunch/dinner, and many other tools that will help a person, new to the business world, be successful.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are the career fair project and the etiquette dinner. From the career fair project, I learned how to speak to employers and how to portray myself in a way that makes the employer want to hire me. From the etiquette dinner, I learned which forks to use at the appropriate time, which drink would belong to me, and when it was the right time to eat my meal.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you'll need to pay attention to little details. The course is not tough because of the class work, it is tough because there are many small details Mrs. Smith pays attention to, from the type of shoes you are wearing with your business suit, to the way you carry yourself. She treats you has if you are the employee and she is your employer, there is no room for you to slack off.
