    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a requirement for all students . This only thing I wouldn't recommend would be the teacher . If you are a person that is a more kinesthetic learning , this teacher is not for you . This course has a lot of material that I believe cannot be taught just by power points and lectures . I passed with a B but I had to stay on top of what I was doing . Unless science comes easy for you I wouldn't take this teacher .

    Course highlights:

Learning the body . Going into depth on how cells develop . Learning and reciting make organelles make up organs and what organs make up the human body . Learning the information on maintaining a good health balance and how to create a great scientific theory and solve it .

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be proactive . Start a study group so that someone will keep you accountable for turning your work in on time . Start getting into the habit of re reading the power points or information so you can retain and have a true understanding of the material

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Throughout the whole semester he made sure each one of his students understood the work. He is very consistent with responding to our emails and calls at a reasonable time such as not waiting to late in the night and he replies 30 mins after the email is sent.

    Course highlights:

He has taught some really great and helpful study methods. Honestly in high school I did not study or know how I would usually skim, coming to college I was assuming I can get by and do the same thing but Dr.Shreekumar Pillai kept repeating himself "In college you must study" at first I didn't believe it I kept thinking they say that in high school no big deal but one day out the blue he handed us a quick quiz and almost the whole class failed including myself because we all did not study but luckily he made that quiz to prove a point and after that most of the class including myself are now studying.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't go into the classroom and waste your time and not pay attention. Don't think once he puts some work in front of you don't automatically think you are going to fail or have trouble with the course. He will explain and even go into depth of each assignment.
