    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned a wealth of information that I will carry with me through my college career.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were, learning the right way to write a research paper. Dr. Whyte is a very knowledgeable professor and knows how to deliver the coursework to her students in a manner that is very thorough, yet understandable. We learned the do's and don'ts of writing and researching a topic. Dr. Whyte was a caring professor who would stop at nothing to ensure that her students grasped the concept of writing, up to and including re-writing a research paper 3 times or more until it was acceptable. This was a great class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material and take good notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Brown pushes you to show your potential. There is no slacking in her classroom.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the structuring of essays and getting the perfect introduction. The many literature exercises she put our class through made me the writer I am today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Write good notes and pay attention. Every test is based on the notes she has given.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! All our papers were very enjoyable to write and he lets you take your paper anywhere you want. It is always based on your opinion and outlook, just make sure you back up your standpoint with evidence and great arguments.

    Course highlights:

This course truly helped me become a better writer and understand how to write in various ways rather than sticking to the style I am comfortable with.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the readings that are assigned because you will be tested on them the next class day. Although he goes over the readings and important parts before the quiz, it is so much easier and the discussions are way better when majority of the class has read.
