    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You learn about things in your body, and the world, that you might not have even known existed. The curriculum is very broad, compared to BIO 102.

    Course highlights:

It was very interesting and intriguing. It is required that you take a lab to compliment the lecture class, and you learn a lot through the hands-on nature of the lab.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to lectures. Do not get distracted. Read over notes after class. Read the textbook. See the professor if you are struggling. When studying for exams, study in a group, and turn off any distractions (such as your phone).

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is the basics of fundamental biology needed for all science majors. This course even though challenging will help you get your foot in the door on any science field of work.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were being all able to work in a lab setting and gaining hands on experience!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard and you will get the grade you hope to get!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Personally I realized I did not like taking Biology and all the extra work that it required.

    Course highlights:

The teacher was very nice and always offered office hours to help explain topics that were harder to understand during lecture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to commit to bio be willing to take on the extra work load, long labs, and very difficult exams.
