    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This class is very interesting. Learning about the basics of biology and furthermore really broadened my horizons of the topic of biology as a whole. The hands on experiments are so fun!

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were the dissections and using the microscopes. I a lot about plants and bacteria just by looking under a microscope.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pay attention to what you are doing while dissecting. Once you make a cut, you can't go back! Also, be on time so you don't miss the directions.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course because the professor is great and knows what she is talking about. Your understanding of biology will change for the better.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were learning about prokaryotes and viruses. I learned the different types of viruses and how they are caused. Another highlight of this course was meeting new people in class to start study groups with. Study groups definitely improved my grade.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Once the professor gives you access to the study guide, it is crucial that you study it. If you don't look over and review the study guide, there is a good chance that you will not do well on the exam. Also, go to a study group, they help a ton.
