Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have enjoyed this class thoroughly! Dr. Vancza is a great and insightful professor who makes writing easy, even for people who don't view it as their strong suit. I recommend this class for anybody looking for an effective, yet easy going writing class.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I have learned the importance of keeping creativity in my writing. I learned that I do not have to write in such a uniform way, and that I can develop my own style and way of writing. I have also learned the importance of pre-writing and the impact it can have to develop a well written essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would just advice every student to avoid procrastinating, stay focused and turn in all your work. Even partial credit counts!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was very interesting and educational. There was reading assigned for every class, but the essays were never longer than 10 pages, making it practical among other course work. I enjoyed improving my writing skills and feel more confident than ever in my ability to write persuasively.

    Course highlights:

Besides the interesting content, my favorite aspect of the course was my professor. Dr. Lee is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. He delivers his lectures in ways that entice you and make you want to learn. He was a very fair grader and was always ready and willing to help if need be. The course had a lot of work, but I was always happy to do it, knowing that doing so would allow me to participate in class discussions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up with the coursework, it can be easy to fall behind in readings if you don't prioritize them. Try to actively participate in class and contribute to discussions about the reading.
