    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course in that the information is extremely relevant to American society today. Moreover, the class provides an opportunity to have the very interesting and very much needed dialogue about race in America within the frameworks of Economics.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of economic theories that have been discussed and suggested in an effort to make things more equal for people of all types and a lot of economic theories and policies that have been implemented and contributed to the perpetuation of racism in America.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you HAVE to do the readings and make an effort to take thoughtful notes during class. The most difficult part about this class was probably understanding the grading criteria. The subject matter is not too difficult otherwise and it is very interesting overall.
