    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is not boring, It is an interesting course. There is a lot of reading but it's worth it in the end. The way Naomi lectures is different from a lot of professors and she encourages you to ask questions and when she ask questions, you can respond back. Naomi doesn't want to make you fall asleep in class. The discussions are helpful!

    Course highlights:

We learned how families worked and their roles in hunter-gathering societies and as well as colonial American societies. Then we also learned how families work today in our contemporary society,

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Find somebody who has printed and highlighted the readings beforehand, if you can. Go to class, she doesn't post any of her slides so that's really important. Stay for the guest lecturers because they're pretty amazing!
