Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Very conceptual methods of calculus as the professor is straight forward and offers lots of resources for help. Keep in mind you have to study and review the homework to master the criteria

Strengthening ones algebra skills and becoming very visual and imaginative derivatives, tangent lines, and functions.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Reach out for help, watch the videos she post online and go to every class or you'll find behind. Do all the homework as practice makes perfect.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
Erica Farelli has been the best professor I have had since attending UMass Amherst. She genuinely cares about her job and teaching her students all the necessary information they need to know. She is always available to help with confusion but with her step by step instructions during class, it is hard to fall behind.
Course highlights:
I learned an incredible amount during this class. She taught us everything we needed to know about Calculus. Our homework and tests were easily understood purely because she takes her time in class to go over what we need to know. I didn't feel like she just wasted our time or gave us busy work. Everything we did for homework was for a reason.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Do all of your homework! Homework helps you a ton for this class! If you understand the topics in the homework you will definitely be all set for your test! Also, GO TO CLASS!! Especially if you don't understand. Erica does an excellent job explaining everything and if you have a question or don't understand, just ask her! She's incredibly helpful.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Professor Benincasa takes her time in explaining everything to us, it is the only class I do not find myself zoning out in. She knows exactly what problems the majority of students struggle with, and she teaches the clearest ways to solve them.
Course highlights:
The highlight of this course are the derivatives, only because I find them challenging and fun to solve. However I learned a lot about everything she taught.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
Take it! You will not regret it.
