Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am a vegetarian and have no trouble finding great food options. Between Berticuccis, Antonios, Bruegers Bagels, Pasta E Basta, Bueno y Sano, etc. There really are so many affordable delicious food options.

    Course highlights:

Campus Housing is great. The dorms, especially the Z-rooms, are spacious and give my roommate and I our own space. I feel like I have enough room for all my clothes, decorations, etc. The negative to living on campus is that they have strict policies for noise, alcohol, drugs and fire safety.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I have people on my floor who are from different towns, states, and countries. Who practice different religions and are of varying sexual orientations. We all get along well and do not treat each other differently because our backgrounds.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies – I believe WGSS to be one of the best majors at UMass-Amherst. It's a major that allows students to pick areas of focus other than Women, Gender, and Sexuality. I, for example, have an area of focus on International Education.

    Course highlights:

They make sure I'm on track and that I'm taking the needed classes. They constantly send e-mails about events, scholarships, internships, and other programs related to the major. It's a major that is always there for the students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I can freely take classes outside my major as long as it is related to my topic. The professors are amazing, very flexible, and show a great amount of interest in helping student's achieve what they want. For me, this is my second family.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The dorms are very cool and each dorm cluster is split up into distinct atmospheres. The only complaint is that RAs can be very unfair and will pick favorites. Some RAs don't care about anything but those who do seem to be very strict. Other than that, it's great and I've made very great friends with people in my hall.

    Course highlights:

Greek life at my school is only a reason to party. No one I know in Greek life is actually interested in helping the community and bettering themselves, they seem to only take interest in alcohol and marijuana.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Athletics are a big part of my school. There are all sorts of classes to take at the gym, like Zumba and cycling. There are also intramural sports that a lot of the campus is involved with. On top of that, the varsity school teams are a big deal. Everyone loves going to the football, hockey, and basketball games; it's something students often do on weekend nights.
