    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Bickford is a great professor and there are so many opportunities to do well in the course.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about why people behave in certain ways and there were so many great videos to accompany the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Bring your iclicker to class! At the end of the semester it could get you some extra credit!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bickford has the same layout for every psychology he teaches. 4 exams and 2 makeup exams and all exams are open note. His exams are not the hardest, but you definitely have to pay attention and know what he was talking about in class. The clicker is used for extra points. He really wants you to succeed, not suffer through another required class. Although not the best professor as a speaker, he is definitely worth considering if you're considering psychology classes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course is that psychology classes are always big classes. It's a huge major on campus so granted, the classes will always be in a huge auditorium for them. Each professor is different which I like and it is interesting to see how each professor interprets psychology in their own way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You're better off learning from the textbook than from him, but still go to class for the clicker and sometimes he shows videos in class that show up on the exam. Quizlet is your literal best friend. Taking the class with friends makes it less miserable.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because if you are interested in psychology, this course will come easily to you. We had a lot of assignments that required us to write our insights and relate scenarios presented to us with terms and studies that we learned in class. As long as you paid attention, the information we learned was interesting enough to stick in your mind.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course was that we were taught using many different methods. We were shown videos, clips of experiments, we took notes off of power points, and we wrote many reflections. Despite the large lecture hall, there were still many opportunities for us to participate in polls during class using an iClicker, by sending in reflections of the day's lectures, or by responding to the Professor's questions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for students considering to take this course would be to try and maintain your attention during lectures. I would also highly recommend taking thorough notes during power points and going through the chapters in the book that are on the exam and taking notes. A lot of the bolded words in the textbook are important for the exams. I would also recommend not just doing the minimum in this course. If only 5 out of 8 items are counted, consider doing 6 or 7, to give yourself and your grade some lee-way.
