Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I liked the class and learned a lot about nutrition, diet and supplements. I took it over the winter and it was definitely worth it, especially since it completed one of my gen eds.

    Course highlights:

Highlight of the course was the nutrition section. I still use the material learned in that section when I'm deciding what food to eat.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to all of the lectures, the entire course is based off what you learn during lectures.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great way to learn about the various disciplines involved in kinesiology. Dr. Kamen is also extremely knowledgeable and uses an interactive teaching style.

    Course highlights:

The course outlined what kinesiology will include for the rest of undergrad. For non-matures, provided great life knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review notes after course. Attend office hours and TA discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was easy but the professor did not talk about the material I was very interested in. He made the class easy, but some of the exams were difficult so studying was a must.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were making study guides for the exams because he laid out EXACTLY what you needed to know for the exam. Of course there was a lot of material, but at least you knew what material you were dealing with.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are interested in the subject. It will not be easy if you don't like learning about the body and exercise science. And the exams do require studying, but not necessarily coming to class.
