    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

An excellent class. Required for psych majors, but I would recommend this class to anyone in the fields of STEM!

    Course highlights:

This class is essentially applied statistics and how to design research studies. Without a doubt the most useful course I have taken so far in college!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture! Prof. Davidson is very friendly and super helpful! Always clears up confusion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class provides a comprehensive overview of everything that an aspiring psychologist and researcher needs to know. By enrolling in this class, psychology majors not only learn the basics of research, they actually utilize what they learn in lectures and labs to conduct studies and write research papers.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were conducting studies- everything from coming up with a hypothesis to passing out surveys, and even writing the research paper in APA style. I was able to learn the multiple ways there are to conduct a study, the code of ethics among researchers, and how to correctly write a paper that incorporates the findings of my research.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attending the lectures is important, but attending labs is a must! Study the slideshows and make flashcards when studying for exams. If you have any questions regarding your research paper, go to your T.A.'s office hours.
