    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Fascinating lectures and discussion on the the transformation of western culture and ideologies. The course is accompanied to a great selection of books such as All Quiet on the Western Front and Maus: A Survivor's Tale

    Course highlights:

Oddly enough my favorite part of the course was the two long papers (5 pages or more). I loved reading the primary documents and crafting well reasoned arguments. I liked writing the papers, I felt I learned more from them than I would have taking a test.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the readings!! It is extremely difficult to keep up if you skip or fall behind on readings.
