Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher really cares about the students learning the material. There are multiple different review sessions dedicated to making sure students understand what they're learning, and the teacher actually holds his own review sessions outside of the TA's reviews.

    Course highlights:

I've learned about the details of signal transduction in cell division and differentiation and really enjoy learning about the ways things work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make sure that you are interested in the content or at least dedicated to learning about it, and be ready to put in the work when you are struggling or don't understand something

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Randy is a great professor, many students complain that his exams are hard and it is all about the wording of them, this may be true in some cases, but as long as you think of the topic as simple processes and watch videos of it online to better understand the flow of the process, such as how protein is made, you should be fine. Study in groups!!!! Working in groups allows you to explain to others on how much you know and it is so much more helpful, you catch areas of weaker understanding and can focus on them rather than studying on the notes again and again. Randy is a great professor and gives alot of extra points. For example he may just cancel a weekly quiz just because, he may even change the grading rubric so that you may get a letter or half higher than what you expect. His exams are moderately difficult, so there should be no problem, however if there is an issue in understanding, there is a likely chance he will give you credit. He is very lenient, every class was fun and never got boring.

    Course highlights:

In this class we learned about rna, dna structures, pathways, protein production, and plant pathways.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work in groups and increase your communications with Randy.
