    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely would recommend this course. I was at first reluctant to take it simply because it was required and I had no autonomy in my decision to take it or not. However, I could not be more happy that I did! Professor Gorman was wonderful and the material was so intriguing. We covered a wide variety of truly inspirational readings and have fantastic class discussions that really engaged the thinking process and formed wonderful bonds with my classmates. The class was also very small which was awesome!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the readings. We had fantastic books to read from Gandhi to the Dali Lama to Plato! Professor Gorman always asked for class input on what we wanted to read and always made sure we were interested. I learned a lot about critical thinking and learned a lot about writing thought provoking papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To students taking this course, I would advise you to not be afraid of participating. Professor Gorman really wants you to succeed, and as long as you do all of the assigned notes and engage in class every day you will do well! The readings are not hard if you keep up with them, and she is always available if you want get help from her on any of the assignments or the material!
