    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The staff genuinely wants you to succeed. In both physics 181 and 182, communication between the teachers and students is very inviting and ignites strong professional relationships. This is a necessary trait for any class to have. It is a group based course which is very refreshing when your used to seeing courses being taught in large auditoriums and also provokes communication between students as well as responsibility.

    Course highlights:

Aside from just teaching me the material. This course taught me many skills that will help me in the long run. One being a strong awareness of the responsibilities I have on others and myself. Due to the difficulty of this course also had to change my studying methods dramatically in order to succeed. This made me a more humble person because before going to college I thought my old studying methods were enough to get thru any course. it worked for high school. College is a whole different field however. The earlier someone knows about this, the more success in college they'll find.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My main advice is communication with both the teachers and students. You can't ace this course without having others to share ideas and questions with. The teachers and their assistants have many office hours available. USE THEM. Not only for questions about the course but to share comments and suggest ideas about the course to the teachers because they also need improvement. Always provoke dialogue.
