    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The town and the surrounding area has a lot of history behind it. Its filled with all different types of people and everyone is open and friendly. I get a real sense of community at Amherst and I love it. It was easy to meet people and establish a support system.

    Course highlights:

As long as you aren't a pretty girl walking alone at night across campus, UMass is very safe. However, I wouldn't want to be that girl.Academics are not bad, the registration processtakes a lot of time if not done properly and on time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Build Your Own Major – Umass gives you the opportunity to fully control the direction of your education. Choosing from all the classes offered at Umass and her sister colleges, you are able to craft your own major and degree.
