Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Overall, he teaches the course very well and makes it easy to understand. He only has quizzes every Friday. If your quiz average by the end of the semester is above a 90, then he exempts you from taking the final, which was a huge load off. The only problem is that he talks fairly quietly and monotonous and has a bit of an accent.
I definitely learned the importance of doing extra problems out of the lessons we were learning on my own so that I would be better prepared for the quizzes he gave.

Advice for students:
Sit up front. He is quiet and hard to understand, and it doesn't make it easier when you're sitting in the back or by the fan in the room. Also, do the required homework as well as the extra problems he gives, although he checks neither, they are extremely helpful on quizzes.
