Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The class and the professor were amazing! We really engaged in key topics of feminist bioethics and how bioethics influences public health. We had people of different beliefs and values which made for an interesting conversation due to some of the material we discussed. The class really centers on expanding past gender. We looked at feminist bioethics with a lens of race, class, sex, and gender.
I learned that bioethics is important in not only human research but also influencing analysis of ethical concerns in health care systems and health policy. I enjoyed the groups collaborations we did in class that forced us to interact with others and share difference perspectives. I learned a lot about myself and what I value as a moral concern and what I didn't consider to be a moral concern.

Advice for students:
Read all the materials the professor provides and ask questions. Don't be afraid to participate and offer an opinion (in a respectful manner) that you may think others don't agree with. Visit with the professor often if you can so you can get to know her and her work better.
