Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is very sweet. She's a young woman, new to teaching, and is very good at it. She loves doing what she does, meaning she loves to help students in her office hours, too. She loves doing anything to make sure her students pass her class.

    Course highlights:

She required a textbook titled, They Say, I Say, and it was very helpful. It includes a lot of writing tips that I've used even after I've finished the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is easy if you do the homework. There are no quizzes or tests, just homework assignments and papers. If you do them all, the class is an easy A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English Composition 101 was a great course taught my Professor Mary Keator. She was great with her ways of making her students think. Often we would challenge ourselves as writers and thinkers with research of the topic and many many drafts, before completing the final essay. Professor Keator had a unique way of approaching her class, through regular mediation routines and crazy analogies, it helped us as students to grow.

    Course highlights:

There were many highlights of this course. But the one to talk about was the research paper. I've admit that I have not done many research papers in my life before taking this class, but Professor Keator had steps by steps on how to approach a research paper. That does not mean the research paper was outlined for us students but more of how to get started. Through this course I've learn how to research through academic sources and to think critically on issues at hand.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do your research and revise the drafts you do over and over again.
