    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think it was very informative and gave a great introductory base to microeconomics while also getting into policy and the counfounding variables surrounding economic markets.

    Course highlights:

The course began with quantitative economics and the mathematics of supply and demand curves and the affects of the consumer and supplier in commercial markets. The course opened up with each new quantitative theory taught, a broader understanding of international, social and political concepts which also affect the economy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of in-class lessons and ask all questions you have. The teacher moves very fast and does not really go in depth, though her tests are in depth, so it is necessary to gain a good understanding of all concepts touched on in the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is always interesting and lays down a good basic for the rest of economics. It is required for the econ major and Godlonton does a great jog teaching it. The problems sets are not very difficult

    Course highlights:

The final paper was a rest exercise in pulling together everything I had learnt in the course. Class discussions were always interesting. The chosen articles were also always a good read.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings. Start the problem sets early. Go to office hours. Start everything early and add to it as you learn more in the course. Always go to class prepared with questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great class! Clear & concise. She keeps it relevant and interesting.

    Course highlights:

Econ 110... It is all supply and demand charts. Basically all graphs. Do your readings and it'll be fine.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your readings! Go to class! Start problem sets early... etc. Get a tutor if you need. Econ 110 is very basic but it's easy to slack off in.
