Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because while the focus is America literature, the professor also brings up key issues that are relevant to us today. He also talks in depth about the American identity and how this identity has been shaped through the years through literature.

    Course highlights:

We read American literature through the years and discussed how the issues that were written about still apply to modern America.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to bring your own ideas to the classroom, especially when it comes to the essays. The professor looks for original ideas that are backed up by evidence from the text.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. I love the professor, he teaches the class extremely well. The curriculum was excellent and I read really interesting stories.

    Course highlights:

A highlight was reading The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. It was an excellent story, and really kept my attention. My professor allowed us to use a creative option for our essays so that was really helpful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the stories! If you don't, you'll lose your place in the course. Also, pay attention to the professor.
