    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Kumar explains the details of the course well, and includes a lot of examples. I like being able to use these examples when preparing for the tests.

    Course highlights:

There were lots of study materials available, and plenty of office hours. I learned a lot about thermochemistry and properties of gases.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the example problems, and leave time to make sure you do ALL of them thoroughly and correctly! Be sure to do supplemental questions from the book too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Kumar is an excellent teacher. She is thorough with her explanations and will always provide multiple examples during class.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed relearning stoichiometry with Kumar, she did a great job teaching it. I learned more about heat transfer and introductory thermodynamics than I did in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A few days before the test, do all of her practice worksheets. Do a few problems from every worksheet a the week leading up to the test.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

His tests and quizzes follow no pattern.

    Course highlights:

The only way to do well in his class is to go above and beyond the assigned HW.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I've never invested so much time into a class not related to my major.
