    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was more outside knowledge rather than actual class time learning. Without prior knowledge you'll be lost.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was reviewing exam after exam where the average school was no higher than 33% for the whole class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand what yo I are getting yourself into before applying for this science course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is an incredibly interesting course. The name of this course is very misleading. Yes ,it is technically a plant biology course but it also takes you into the depths of the most basic functions of all living things. It opens yours eyes as to the way in which all living things are connected.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course, for myself personally, were the lab sections that we attended in addition to the lecture. To be even more specific, growing a lemon tree from a seed we soaked in bleach and cleaner, cut open with a scalpel, and put into a test tube full of goo.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall back in reading your book. Yes you are given the printed out lecture notes but make sure to follow through with rereading the corresponding chapters. Also, even if you are tired or feel kind of yucky, go to class, don't skip.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well it is a requirement for most majors but I would recommend it outside of requirements because it is a fun course if plants are your thing and the professors are amazing!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is actually the lab. You do a lot of interesting things like grow lemon trees.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be dedicated to learning the course material. The material isn't easy but follow the lectures with reading the corresponding chapters and make sure to ask questions to clarify.
