Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is one of my favorite courses I've taken at Albion. Dr. Verduzco-Baker is very knowledgeable in her field and she makes sure that all of the students can engage with the material. It could be very easy to make this course uncomfortable, but she faces all of the tough issues face on and teaches us what we need to know about what is going in the world around us and what we can do to make it better.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the way that race, gender, ability, and other areas of intersectionality impact the world; on a personal level and withing our society as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take this class if you feel like you would like to interact with, and begin to understand people of all backgrounds. Come to class and the assignments aren't too tough. She makes the material very easy to understand.
