Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It helped me think in a more creative way and made me dive in pool of thoughts about everything I am surrounded.

    Course highlights:

I took a responsibility for myself to influence others' lives and perspectives through my writing. Writing is a powerful tool to contribute others' thinking and most importantly our society. Writing is the best way to convey my passion into solid place where there would be no limit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed the small classroom size that is common at Albion because it helps writers have a community in which they can safely share ideas and bounce them off your fellow peers.

    Course highlights:

I loved being able to speak with real writers and analyze popular works of modern fiction.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read all of the work; otherwise you are less likely to learn all the material

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to people who are serious about writing - otherwise, it may seem like too much work.

    Course highlights:

I love being able to learn what other types of writing interest my peers, and having workshops helps me polish and hone my editing skills, which is very helpful for a writer. I have also become more familiar with figure out the types of stories that I want to tell, and what parts of my writing are strengths and what some of my weaknesses are.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all of the reading - if you don't read, the class discussions will pointless. Write about what you know, but also have at least one story that pushes you outside of your comfort zone: that's a way to become a better writer, and I strongly encourage it for at least one of the three main stories.
