Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Skean is a great professor! He always brought interesting talks to class. The course was interesting as well and not too challenging (but you have to study). I took this class as an 8am and never fell asleep. I would recommend this course to all science majors and those interested in evolution.

    Course highlights:

This course studies the evolution of life on earth. It looks at the similarities and differences between all living things. You will learn about the theories on evolution as well as the evidence behind those theories. You will study things from cells and viruses as well as trees and mammals.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to study for this course. You also have to do the assigned online homework (which is graded as a 100% or 0%). Class attendance is also part of your grade so you have to come to class (you get two unexcused absences) but Dr. Skean was reasonable with letting me miss if I emailed him beforehand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am a biology major, and while this course was required for me, it is so amazing to learn about the environment and the way biology works.

    Course highlights:

Learning about small, microscopic cells and bacteria always fascinates me. I love to look at moving, living things under a microscope.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the homework and study! It is not too difficult of a course if you do all of the work! If you are having troubles, go to office hours and ask your professor for help!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He is a professor that will dedicate his time to help you understand any trouble that a student encounters.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me understand the problems in there are in the environment. This course not only talks about Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity topics, but it brings up issues that humans have done to the environment.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Head to your professor's office hours and study tables. Constantly study your notes to fully understand topics that you have difficulty in understanding.
