Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great intro to essential skills involving Microsoft excel and Microsoft access.

    Course highlights:

We got to look at big data and use excel formulas to solve problems that businesses may face. It felt very applicable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the textbook because the tests mainly come from that. And DEFINITELY go to class because she points things out in class that are not in the book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class teaches you the most important thing in life, EXCEL! Everyone uses it in every job! You learn the proper formulas to use in certain situations and you get projects that help you apply everything you learned in class to real world situations.

    Course highlights:

Being able to learn how to create and use Pivot Tables was definitely the best part of the class. Once you start grasping how they work, you start to realize how useful they are. For example, while taking this class I was also a Marketing Intern, and while you'd think a marketing intern wouldn't use this kind of stuff, it was the basis of my job. It was awesome being able to apply this kind of knowledge to my workplace.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every class and make sure you pay attention to Dr. Karake's instructions when she explains excel functions and everything. The best way to prepare for quizzes and tests are to study the voacab from each chapter, and make sure you read!!
