    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course isn't just learning about dividends, DCF, capital structure and multiples. We regularly complete case studies on particular companies and need to evaluate them based on the issue at hand int eh case like an IPO, hostile takeover, or capital structure decision. By applying learned knowledge to real life case studies is extremely useful in terms of gaining a deeper understanding of the concepts and being ale to speak candidly about real life cases in situations like interviews.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about mergers and acquisitions, dividend policy, capital budgeting and leveraging beta. I really enjoyed learning these concepts because they are very applicable to what I might want to do in the future. I also loved the case studies because they enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be organized, stay on top of due dates, know how to work through problems, stay updated reading the WSJ, and keep notes from BMGT 340

    Pretty easy, overall.

He gives a lot of partial credit and the final is optional. But you don't leave the class feeling like you learned a whole lot. There are 2 group projects, 1 midterm, 1 individual case, and some case summaries.

    Course highlights:

Easy professor. Practactly gives answers away if you go to class

    Advice for students:

In class, she will work many problems, similar to what is on the exams, but are not overly difficult. There are also 3 projects, online hw + quizzes and clicker questions, which are not that bad. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend that you take her!
