Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The subject in general will advance you so far throughout your college career. Sanders himself is also an excellent professor; while he does grade a bit hard, all of it is absolutely fair. He responds to emails quickly and is easy to schedule time with after class. You really feel like he wants you to succeed rather than him just working for a paycheck. He's also young enough that he's not intimidating to approach.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of calculus very thoroughly. I took it in high school, so I wasn't learning anything foreign, but the college level helped make sure I fully understood what I was learning. Sanders in general made the course pretty easy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework with other people and don't wait until the last day to do so. Also do the discussion work. The best way to understand math is to practice it. Even if you don't go to class, make sure you stay on top with what the class is learning. Don't be afraid to ask questions because I promise you, you won't look dumb asking.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it only because it is a prerec for many courses

    Course highlights:

The difficulty is glaring. You need to study at least 10 hours and preferred with a partner.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just stay focused. Do not procastinate, it will cause you to fall behind easily.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course to take for any first year CS or engineering major.

    Course highlights:

The unit on limits at the very beginning is tough. But the instructor equips us to power through and do much better in the coming months. Everyone improves and gains a strong understanding limits, differentiation, and later concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the textbook thoroughly. There is always information that may come up on an exam. Try to get 10/10 on all online homework assignments. See Okoudjou during his office hours if you are struggling. Talk to the TA during discussion about challengng problems so he or she can walk the class through it. Review material on previous exams to make sure you still know know to do every single problem you have seen before.
