This class was tough.
It is a required course for those who are majoring in electrical or computer engineering. It is only 2 credits, but it takes a very large amount of time, incongruous with what would be expected from a 2 credit class.
My professor allowed us to skip taking the final if we were content with the grade we got from the weekly labs. There are 11-12 lab weeks, so we finish well before finals start. In this course we learn how to design circuits that perform a certain function. Most of the labs utilize programming in order to be able to create much more complicated circuits than could be done just with hardware.

Advice for students:
The prelabs take hours to do, but the post lab is easy. It's important to get started on the prelab early so that you can get help if you need it. Mac users won't be able to download the software and will need to spend a lot of time using the lab computers to complete it.
