    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking the policing course with professor Laure Brooks because she is very knowledgable about the material and gave first hand experience on the material that she covered in lecture.

    Course highlights:

One of the main highlights of the class were the guest speakers that Professor Brooks brought in for lecture that coincided with her lecture topics. From her style of teaching and the guest speakers I was able to learn more about the task and challenges that police as well as others in the criminal justice system. I also gained a lot about the different forms of interaction that law enforcement officials had with citizens and how/why they are viewed by the public in a particular manner.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For those that are considering taking the policing course with Professor Brooks, I highly recommend that they start to read the text material that she assigns for her exams when it is released. Reading early and going over class notes every chance one gets can help with the exams tremendously.
